Interesting Interviews

Here are a couple of interviews worth reading.

First, Ploughshares blogwriter Jamie Quatro interviews four poets about first drafts and writing processes. The four poets are Traci Brimhall, Amy Gerstler, Andrew Hudgins, and Timothy Liu.

Also, Hunger Mountain blogwriter Claire interviews speculative fiction writer Cynthia Kraack, and here it's the questions that are particularly interesting. You might want to think about them yourself.

Three at Thrush

Thrush Poetry Journal has their March edition up and online, and I'm pleased to have three poems in it, alongside work by Ocean Vuong, Traci Brimhall, and Nate Pritts. I have really enjoyed the poems published at Thrush since its recent inception, and find it, along with the Sugar House Review, to be an online journal worth watching.

Winning Words: Traci Brimhall

Poet Traci Brimhall, whose manuscript Our Lady of the Ruins recently won the Barnard Women Poets Prize, has a history of winning contests, and some haunting poems to back up her legacy.
