Reading at Authors Live Tonight

Hey, friends, yes this is late notice, but I'm reading from Whiteout tonight at the literary event Author's Live (hosted by Jared Angel) at Bar Iznt in Sannomiya, Kobe, from 6 pm.  Other readers will be Peter Mallett, Warren Decker, and Jerry Gordon. Pittsburgh Poetry Houses

Ever since I heard of the Pittsburgh Poetry Houses, I wanted to be a part of it. Self-described as " A few tiny houses scattered about the city of Pittsburgh each with four poems free for the taking," this is an admirable public art project. AND one of those tiny colorful houses is at Randyland, eeek!

So it's with a real thrill that I announce that editor Sarah Boyle selected my poem "Nocturne without Counterexample" for inclusion (previously published in the Baltimore Review). That means my poem has been to Randyland, though I have not (yet)!

Check out the whole issue. Or all the issues--go for it! Each poem is short because it needs to fit on a small paper to go in the tiny houses, so if you want shorter poems, this is your source.

Whiteout Reviewed in Poetry Northwest

I'm feeling very fortunate to have had Martha Silano review Whiteout for Poetry Northwest. Silano writes, "Goodfellow’s incorporation of etymologies and use of sound orchestration lend an exquisite beauty to these poems." She does a stellar job of explaining what Whiteout is about, in case you are wondering, so please take a moment to look at this review. 

It's such a good feeling to be understood by an insightful reader.

What a day! Two centos are up at Sidereal Magazine, thanks to editor Katie Mertz.
